Here We Go
The heat is on! I've been tweaking my resume. Posting it at online job sites. Updating my LinkedIn profile. Now to hit the pavement in an effort to find that elusive job. This is the part of the whole process that had me the most concerned. Finding a company willing to take a chance on a 45 year old newbie isn't going to be easy. Moving from sales into web design with only a certificate, and a fabulous personality may not be enough. I'm applying for any job that I met at least 3/4 of their requirements in any one of the fields of sales, computers, web design, management, or non profits. Something is better than nothing at this point. Time, money and my patience is running out. Wish me luck!

Make sure you write on your cover letters that you are willing to "put out". Let them interpret however they wish.
Also include an 8x10 face shot and you'll have a job by the end of the week, or at least a few late-night interviews!
Awww, I'm just kidding with you boy. I'm wishing you all the best luck in the world. But don't get a job too fast. Wait at least a couple weeks ;-)
Good luck, my thoguths will be with you.

Best wishes, Dave. I did it at 41. You can do it.
