Feeling Betrayed

I'm a little sad at the moment. I feel betrayed by a friend that I held in high esteem. It's for a trivial reason, and I honestly feel stupid for feeling this way about it. But I do. I bothers me. It isn't unforgivable. I'm trying to decide if I should even mention it to them or just work thorough it and let it pass. I don't want to be thought a fool by saying nothing, nor one because I did. I'll think about it tonight before I do or say anything.

I have to say. If you feel it does nto matter then blow it off. If it matters then you should go with your heart. You should be able to go to your freind and work it out.

Discretion is always the better part of valor - and usually the part that I ignore. Good luck with your decision.

I think Ray put it very well.

It's best, of course, to learn to speak up right when things happen, but we can't always do that.

Is this likely to be repeated?

Did it cause you harm?

Is it part of a pattern that needs to be stopped?

Or was it simply a thoughtless word or deed like we all commit sometimes, not meaning to offend?

If you decide it's truly worth bringing up try this formula: "When you did X, I felt . . . ."

Or blow it off, but use it as a learning experience so you don't make yourself vulnerable in the same way again.

That will be 50 cents, please. Grin.

always best to think things out before acting out.

If this is a friend, then due process is nothing to fear.
