What's Up?

I'm worn out on this job search already! Whew! My submit finger is tired. I wish I had counted how many want ads I've looked at since last week. I sent out 25 resumes today alone. No telling how many since the job search began. It's gonna take some time. I'll find something I'm qualified for at some point. Maybe some company will see my potential and low salary requirement as worthy of a risk.

On a brighter note, tomorrow I head for a day trip to Asheville to hang a few hours with Larry and hubby Greg, Java, and BearToast Joe! It will be a hoot no doubt. I'm looking forward to meeting the guys. Java and I have met for dinner before, so it will be great to see her again! Biltmore House is fabulous! I've have wanted to go back since my grandparents took my sister and I when I was 8 years old. Ashevlille is a gorgeous place as well. A favorite of Jeff's as well. He was kind enough to fill me in on a place we should visit if there is time. The Chocolate Fetish. Sounds absolutely decadent doesn't it?

When this trip idea came up, I had mentioned it to my father and sister. It was shortly after my mother's surgery. Guess I forgot to mention it to her in the interim. She called a little bit ago, wanting me to come in the morning to help mulch her flower beds. Guess my father never mentioned it either. I'm gonna call to let her know Thursday would be better. Of course, I'm sure she will have something to say about me spending the money, job hunting, keeping me up, blah, blah, blah. I'll smile and nod as usual, and do it anyway. After the last two years and finishing my certificate, I deserve a day away from here.

I can't wait to take some pics! It's gonna be fun! Stay tuned!
