Let's Play Catch (Up)

I've been all bent out of shape about my online class already and this is just the first week! After all the hoopla over cancelled classes and three trips to the school bookstore for a textbook that appears non existent, I finally emailed the instructor about my blight. With the first lesson due today at 6pm, I was getting frantic. I remember how last semester's internet class went. She emailed this morning, stating that if I look at the module for the first lesson, the textbook wasn't needed. Well, duh! So I've adverted a small setback in my academic career today be plowing through copious amounts of reading on line text material. I had to brush off helping my father today to get caught up. I feel bad about that, but I wasn't sure how long it would take to do the lesson. He was understanding but I still feel guilty, because I feel like I let him down. And I feel stupid, because I didn't actually read the lesson, I just assumed it involved the textbook like my last online class did. So I'm off to a great day so far. I finished all the reading, now on to the actual work part. I needed a break from reading. My eyes were crossing and the dog and I both need to pee.

As a former (adjunct) educator, I can affirm that you will think better on an empty bladder. :-D
