I"m from New Jersey. We visited my husband's daughter in Mountain View California. She took us on a "nature walk". At the end of the walk she showed us a sign like this.
Needless to say, if we had seen the sign first we would not have taken that walk.

and I just noticed you are in Monroe. My parents live in China Grove NC. Small world.
I'm actually trying to figure out what was really meant in the first place and all I can think of is what the vandal actually scribbled down. :-)
