Twist of Faith

Born of fire and water,

earth and sky,

endowed with spirit

and understanding,

the human race

struggles to fulfill

its potential,

embrace its destiny

and connect

with the divine.

Legions seek it,

few obtain it.

Many fall by the wayside,

spiritual refuse devoid of

love and compassion,

truth and comprehension.

Shocked are those who

refute truth for personal gain,

condemned to a hell

of their own making.

A plateau of where

they can never ascend

nor retreat from their position,

forever lamenting the twist

of their faith.
