What makes a man?

Is it his muscles?

His genitals?

Or how he carries himself?

Maybe how he treats others?

Or the ability to be tender or tough

as the occasion calls for it?

Is it his knowledge?

His primal urges?

Maybe how he holds his head high?

Or how he knows right from wrong

and stays the course?

What makes a man?

Clearly more than meets the eye

and deeper than the soul.
