I talked to my father this afternoon about 4:30pm. He is at home now recovering. The procedure took about an hour he said. They put him under, after he woke up, they wrote a prescription for pain pills and sent him home. He said so far there hasn't been any pain. I was glad to hear everything went smoothly as I'm sure he was too. He has to take it easy a few days, no lifting or strenuous exertion. He didn't mention anything about a follow up appointment but I would think if they are gonna take a little bit out of you, they will want to see you at some point afterward. I'm sure my mother knows. Thanks for all you nice comments this morning. I appreciate it. At my father's age of 71, I worry. I know they want be around forever but I prefer it not to be in misery either.
