Lame Duck

It would appear that President Bush had made a few enemies in Iraq. A journalist threw both his shoes at him this afternoon at a press conference. I'm more shocked that someone throwing something at him came so late in the administration. Supposedly it is a great insult in their culture to do so. While I can't condone this type of action, I do wish it had knocked him out. Better luck next time dude!

I wish they'd chucked it at his head about eight years ago.....and nailed him good.

I was surprised by the Secret Service's slow response to the situation.

i did not know throwing shoes was a grave insult, apart from being the target of something thrown.

I did not perceive your pun until Sam's comment.

Had this man not lived in a bubble from which all dissent (and truth of peoples reaction to him) had been removed, he would have had much more practice ducking.
